I came to the thread cuz I thought it might be a good place to post some storm shots I just got and was pretty impressed with. After seeing yours, though, I'll just slink quietly away...

Cool thread Tyler. I thought I would throw in a few photos from my chasing this year. I read your post about Leedey, so I'll throw in a photo from that day since I was chasing down there this spring.

#2 is my favorite of your series - thanks for sharing.

Nice pix, great series! I'm surprised to see you haven't posted some of those lightning pix you took in Lincoln! Saw those (and your website) the other day after seeing your pix on journalstar.com

These are absolutely beautiful and capture the menace of these storms perfectly for me. My fave is by far the Last Chance, CO shot, not only for the shot itself but the composition and the name of the place are so fitting. Great work!

Wow, these are totally awesome. How did you capture the lightning in <Last Chance, Colorado - June>. Was is an accident, long exposure or do you have some motion detection script in place for that?

Everything is a question of the time and will.

NICE!!! incredible stacked plates there. I'd love to chase in the Canadian prairies at some point. Can't wait for Spring 2011!

I actually did post a thread with that pic, for some reason it went unnoticed - not sure why lol.

Just a little bit of "last chance luck" I guess. The lightning was pretty frequent so I got setup on the tripod and stopped down to catch the lightning, soon the sun popped out there on the right and it was an incredible scene.
