Well, it looks like this B/E has taken up residence in the dead tree across the river. He's been there in the PM four or five days in a row now. Doesn't look like (s)he is nesting, just watching the river go by. I'm hoping to get a food-catching pic, or at least an opportunity, but I sit out there and watch him for 45 minutes, and the minute I go inside he takes off 
100x400mm, with cheap Kenko 2X TC for a little extra reach.The tree is about 200-225 yards away. Background sky is washed out, very humid and cloudy today. All I did was crop the image down to something more reasonable.
