I've had very little opportunity to do any astro-imaging, so I decided I would practice some processing on some of my older image data. What I've been trying to do is get away from the usual DSLR Image processing were I only process the reds the blues and the greens. Instead I am blending and mixing the colors to get a different effect. I started with my image data from April 2009 of the Lagoon and Trifid nebulae.
First is the older basic processing version from last year, then the second is the newer reprocessed version.

Tell me what you think! My eyes are kind of tired; I'm starting to like the colors, but it looks a little bit too bright
