Hello!

I've been toying around with my current wireless remote but when it come to do long exposures at night, it gets really awkward to use a stop watch and try to close the shutter by hiding behind the camera while pointing the IR at the front of the camera... all that without bumping in the tripod and mess up the nice exposure.

I've seen some aftermarket remotes with timer on ebay and DealExtreme and I'm not too sure which one I should go for. What I'm interested in is a remote that offers timer to have control over exposures and, perhaps, toy around with time lapse photos? Something that is corded would be preferred but if not, it has to give the possibility to use the remote while sitting behind the camera.

Any good suggestions?

Thanks in advance and regards!

I was expecting a few more insights on this, but that will get me started. Thanks RayHff!

Timer Remote: Try to google about YongNuo TC-C1.
At DE (external link), is some feedback.

Without timer function: YongNuo RS-802 (I own this one. For the price (+-6€) it's the best)
