Wow. I think these are amazing. I don't know if you were to see this type of thing every day there ... but I will say you portrayed it nicely in these two images. So much character.

The first one is Nat Geo material.
/That's a huge compliment.

Those aren’t crack heads; they are Hindu Holy Men (sadhus) and under Indian law, allowed to carry limited quantity of marijuana for personal consumption!

Ever hear of Capital letters and punctuation? Might make more sense when you're knocking someone else's work.

Smoking ganja/weed/marijuana is acceptable in many places on earth. There are countless well known photos that were published of Bob Marley and other celebrities smoking marijuana. When discussing drugs, keep in mind that drug laws and feelings towards drugs are not global.

I'm a great fan of the one on the left. Reminds me of one of my favorite paints at Norton Simon museum in Pasadena, "the 13 inebriated Indians".

As far a critiques go, it seems the focal point on the left one is the hands, not the eyes... I would have preferred to have the focus on the eyes.

Forget about what the others are saying. This is a forum for photography, not cultural insensitivity and ethnocentrism.

Thanks for sharing. Great photojournalism...

The first photo is amazing! I wonder what lens did you use for this? If not a telephoto, I bet you were one happy photographer!

Great work though!

Yep love the 1st one...really wish focus was on the eyes, or the entire subject. Other than that it's a great capture!!!
