Thanks for sharing your photos. We are visiting in September. Any tips. Were you on a photo tour? I have a 70-200mm 2.8 but am going to rent the 100-400mm for the week. Love the face on the male lion. Is that shot through glass?

Yes the male lion was shot through glass. 400mm would be a big help, but a lot, after 5 or so I had to shoot at iso 500-800 to shoot with a 70-200 f/2.8 & 2x TC. So at f/5.6 isn't wide enough once the sun goes down behind the hills.

A 300mm f/2.8 rental might work better. I rented that one a couple of years ago for this park and I got a lot of really great shots.
