Yet Another Sigma 50 AF question...sorry

So is front and back focusing the only issue with the AF? Since I have a 50d, I can micro adjust, so there is no need to worry about it, right?

If it is only off by a small amount yes...but sometimes it can be off so much microadjusting will not help. Just means you have to send it to sigma to get calibrated.
