Hi all...

I am wanting to start in professional photography again, so I'm trying to get all of my ducks in a row and gather up all of my equipment. When I was in the field the first time, I shot film. And since my aunt owned a photo lab, I was able to bring my rolls of film to her lab and do my own processing on her machines for a very small fee.

Well, now I am shooting digital, and my aunt closed down her shop after being a victim of an armed robbery. So I don't have use of machines anymore. My question is when you guys do a studio shoot, how do you print the photos for your client? Are you sending them off somewhere to print, or do you print them yourself on a photo printer? I have an HP 8150 that give amazing prints up to 8x10, but I'm not so sure it is professional quality (especially since it's only a $150 printer). If you print them yourself, what equipment do you use? If you use an online lab, which one? I haven't yet found a pro lab in my area, although I do have a bunch of commercial labs available (walmart, walgreens, sams, cosco, etc) but from what I've read on this forum, they should not be relied upon for professional prints.

Thanks for all of the info!
- Tom
