Are you able to bend your thumb all the way down to the wheel without the grip? I know I can't.
Well, actually, when I hold it in landscape, I can easily reach the wheel with no problems, it's only vertical.

When I hold the camera vertically and put my finger in its most comfortable position on the grip's shutter, I can only just reach the 3 o'clock point on the dial. I need to move my hand as Ecub does.
Yeah, I've figured I would have to do much more hand movement/sliding along the body with the grip.

I find it more irritating having the joystick entirely out of reach as wildlife isn't inclined to keep still while I'm forced to plot the co-ordinates of the focus point (wheel two clicks to the left, dial two clicks up) as if I'm cracking open a safe!
Lol.
Yeah, I've noticed the joystick is completely out of reach.
