I just received my Pocket Wizard Flex set and a 85 f/1.8 today so I got a willing model for a few snaps. Thoughts?

I like #2 IMO. Looks like you shot at f2.8 to go for the soft edges, was that your intention? I think they look good. Did you use both strobes?

Yep, two 580EXII in 43" shoot through umbrellas in TTL mode. Not 100% sure I like the DOF myself. Was definitely trying to throw my horribly cheap wrinkled muslin out of focus. Obviously these are the same shot, any thoughts on the conversion?

Great shot. I actually like the dof, and am drawn to #2 as well - I think it's the warmth of her hair and skin tones. Her forehead is a little hot in the conversion (imo). It is just a touch distracting from her eyes. I'm not using a calibrated screen right now, though.

Thank you. The conversion was meant to be more high key. Maybe I over did it.
