the streamers represent the tails of shooting stars, most are about 4 meters, some are 5 meters long and very colorful...all hand made. Shops along the shopping pedestrian mall sponsor the building of them.
Most of us westerners are familiar with origami but they take it to an whole other level with these. As an amateur photographer it is one of my favorite festivals, a tsunami of color...oh yeah...and people.
This was my first good try with my new 50mm L lens and I am pleased with the results so far...gonna get more good glass but I haven`t decided what yet, so many great choices out there.
