I made a pretty visible scratch on my top LCD (the monochrome one). Is there a way to replace this or remote the scratch? Maybe a bit silly, but it bothers me like hell. I always take very good care of my equipment but my camera almost fell and while grabbing it, it touched my car keys making the scratch :(

Over a 4 year period I accumulated a lot of very fine scratches on the rear screen of my 350D, I removed pretty well all of them by using either Brasso or Duraglit polish wadding. It takes a bit of effort but it does work, it rubs away the hard edges of the scratch so that it blends in with the rest of the screen,so becoming almost unoticeable.

I use this stuff to remove scratches from my neighbours kids Playstation discs, the little darlings think the only place to store a disc is on the floor.

John:)

Most of the canon range have replaceable perspex covers over their respective LCD's.

I've had a quick search but can't find can't 7D parts listed online so you may need to call Canon and see if they can sell you the part, they're quite cheap and only stuck on with double-sided tape gaskets.

(example of 20D LCD cover here (external link) )

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:
