I have a Pro9000 printer that I got with my 40D 3(?) years ago. Now I'm looking at getting a 7D and am debating getting a new big printer with it. I don't use the Pro9000 that much since I have a smaller printer (IP6600D) to print 8x10's or smaller on, but hate not to save alot of money by getting the newer model with the camera.

1 thing that keeps me thinking of getting the printer is that my small printer is getting on up there in years now so I just keep thinking that it is going to give up one of these days. My luck with printers hasn't been too good til this one.

Now that I'm getting the pictures I want I have more of a want to print bigger pictures than I used to.

So are there any advantages as to having the 9500 mkii?

Thanks
Bill

I'm no expert, but apparently the 9500 uses pigment-based inks instead of dye-based ones, meaning better longevity for your prints.
