A very entertaining session with Annika, my little sister, and her friend Paulina in the Badlands in Couvet, Switzerland, aka a graffiti covered pedestrian tunnel. For those of you even wagely familiar with the little town of Couvet knows that there are very few "bad neighborhoods" here, it is like the calmest place on earth.

The situation during the shot could only be described as a wind tunnel for testing car aerodynamics! The kicker umbrella took some bad hits to put it mildly. I hope you enjoy the results. Comments and improvement critique are welcome and appreciated!

It's all sun glasses this time as well!

Model: Annika Arnell
Assistant: Matilda Tehler
Location: Badlands, Couvet, Switzerland ;)

Camera: Canon 5D Mark II
Lens: EF 85/1.2L II USM
Light: 580EX II in umbrella as key light, 430EX in umbrella as kicker gelled blue for some shots, radio poppers

You are right, me too. As you asked I went back and checked the entire set, and we seem to have only done sun glasses in this session... strange :o, I usually want to have with and without if using sun glasses, must have forgotten it this time. Thanks for the feedback.

Great background, exposure, lighting and model.

Yea I have to agree about the glasses, do you have any photos of her without?

I see you said you used both the 580 and 430, what was the cable for that ran between the flashes?

Yaamon, thanks!

I have others without, but not in this session, a real oversight from me

I used only one receiver (cheap Ebay ones on this shot, got Skyports now!), so the cable is a sync cable from the one receiver hanging off the key light. Annoying with cables, but my other receivers were dead from over-usage (Ebay quality!)

Great looking series you have right here. The colors really pop out in these and you have some great lighting. What size umbrella do you got there?
