got nostalgic for black and white grain, stretched the histogram perhaps a bit too far. half of the time i look at them i kind of like the effect and half of the time not.

I like some of them, but I'm puzzled why you would need to shoot high aperture, high shutter speed AND ISO 3200.
All the noise you get from ISO 3200 kills any detail you'll get from the shot. I understand shooting F/20, but I didn't see a need for 1/2000 and ISO 3200...Slow the shutter down so you can at least get the ISO down to under 800

i wanted a lot of noise for a very grainy look (unfortunately ISO grain doesn't have the appearance of a film grain). i might back off of 3200 and see what kind of results i can get with 800 or 1600. since the d200 has rather decent low ISO performance, here are some shots taken at f/16 and f/20 and ISO of 100. didn't shoot any at 800 since there were some nearby lightning strikes and i didn't want to push my luck.

These are alot better than the first postings . The grain look was just too overbearing for me in the first ones .

i use a mobile workstation laptop that makes images look brighter than on other monitors. i may need to upgrade my PP monitor.
