I had this idea when I shot it & combined it with a sunset I shot years ago. I'm not sure if it's done yet, so it's time to put it aside for awhile.
I have an idea for another one to play with when I get back Monday. ;-)a

It's a good idea, but the shadows are going to be all wrong (unless you move them).

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

I like it a lot.

I agree bout the shadows, they need to be much longer at sunset.

Anny chance of seeing it above the 100kb limit, looks prety distorted...

Sheesh. Now you guys have me feeling like a mean old nitpicker. :o :o :o I didn't say I didn't like it.....I only feel if the sun is down behind the planes, there should be long shadows on the tarmac. Maybe it's a personal problem.

You mean You're NOT? ;) With the clouds the way they are, it might be easier to make it look like a dreary, overcast, "shadowless" day, and just clone the shadows out? But then you'd have to alter the light as well, and the light is one of the things that really make this shot look good.

I like it but the blue on the stang is too stong ( my opinion )
Being WWII I would thing the colours would be a little softer but depends what you are going for!

You're right. I've been wondering if/how much to do them. No time now.

the blue on the stang is too stong

I'll probably keep it this way but it's on it's own layer. Going for the blue/yellow complementary colors thing & it makes the Mustang stand out a bit more. I may have to tone it down for a print.

Being WWII I would thing the colours would be a little softer

:D I don't insist on that much purity!

Anny chance of seeing it above the 100kb limit

When it's done I'll put it online.

I'm glad you liked it so far, & see you guys next week!

It is very cool, but Belmondo's right about the shadows.

I wonder what it would look like without the guy marshalling the B-17? It's sort of distracting for me...

I think the guy marshalling the B-17 will look pretty good in OD green, but it could look farley interesting if he was in B&W to give him an old time look.
