Took these tonight and thought I would see what you thought. I dont really care for the pose in number 2 but she loved it and thats what matters to me. It was the first time I have gotten the sun to shine across the frame and I did it by accident but I know now. I only have one flash so no hair light on the first one. Saving now for that. Thanks in advance.
Jeremy

I like them... especially the light on the second photo. I agree the pose could have been better but customer satisfaction trumps :)

i would use an umbrella on the first shot, bump your iso, and blend your light better. light is to harsh for the scene.

I like #1but the light on her face is a bit harsh. Don't like #2, I'm not a fan of the 'tilt'.

Love the colors but her smile looks a little stress like if it was forced, great pictures nonetheless

Guess I agree with the tilt and really wasn't even thinking about it. Looking at them now I think I over sharpened the first one which doesn't help at all. I had my 580 in a 16X16 softbox and tried every which way to feather it and get it softer but it wasn't working for me. Thanks for the critique, very much appreciated.

Nice photos. I would have to agree with the light needing to be blended better. The sunset is beautiful and she is lit well, but it is two different color temperatures. The first photo has the white balance set for her lighting. White balance difference and late sunset create a harsh separation from between it and the subject.
