Yes. I use this one too. Wonderful anti virus in my opinion.

Although, I barely find a need for an anti virus because no viruses get onto my computer to begin with. =)

Under services in MSCONFIG Symantic has at least 6 that load on start up

I would to see the list generated by running something like Norton System works.
Maybe they call it system works because it becomes your system and is the only thing that works?

I've been using AVG from 'grisoft.com' for years. It's free and updates weekly. Never had a virus or a problem with it.
I also run 'trendmicro' housecall about once a month to be on the safe side.
