Pic of my sister. 20D, 50mm 1.8, 430ex II at 1/32 +3 to the left with bounce umbrella. Little PP, only a little contrast boost and saturation for hair

very nice portrait,the lighting i really like,i might have dodged and burned the eyes a little very pretty girl or women lol also nice white teeth lol

Just curious, did you get one from the other side of her face? I feel like having the part on the far side of her face gives that side an empty feeling, I'd like to see what it would look like with the part facing the camera (I feel it would balance out the two sides of her face, but what do I know?)

Thanks all! No shots from the other side, she hates her right side and her hair doesnt seem to fit it as well. I see what you mean though. Any suggestions on what f stop to aim for? 2.8-3.5 I would think, dont want the shoulders in focus, I like the depth it gives
