Do you guys find that you need to steam or iron your denny freedom cloth upon initial receipt to remove the shipping wrinkles?

Or if you have a spray bottle of water. Just give it a quick mist all over and then throw it in the dryer for 10 minutes. That's how I dewrinkle my clothes every morning.

I just got my first pair of glasses that I didn't think I needed. I apologize to anybody in the past year that I said their pictures were out of focus lol.

The man who invented wrinkle free Khakis should have won the Nobel prize.

lmao, I completely agree on this one! My mother still tries to give me clothes for birthdays and Christmas but I end up having to return them all, because she's too cheap to pay the extra 2 bucks and get the wrinkle free stuff. It's nice to be able to take them out of the dyer and just hang them. what a blessing that is.

I need to find some decent new backdrops, the ones I have are kind of blah and I'm too cheap to pay for the expensive ones... lol.

I'm going to go by Micheals and see what I can work out. They normally have some great stuff.

I'm getting really close to being able to walk again so I need to get my game going with things to spruce up the materials.

yes, these methods are quite common but I never cared for tie dye type stuff. I don't like those types of muslins as it is.

Ok first off i am very new at shooting people that are not family or friends. I shot these for my niece's friend who's parents are in a bad place with no money or jobsand he wanted senior pics so i said i would help. let me know what you think. i know number 2 is soft in the face but it's the only shot where he is showing any emotion at all.

on #2, the wall in the front right is super sharp, while the subject is OOF... is it just me?

#1 looks kind of odd when everything else is unsaturated except the mitt, then you have the part of the green jersey. Yea #2 is out of focus. I wouldn't use it if it was the only emotion he showed. #3 is the best out of the 3.

First image looks quite tacky in my opinion. The selective color isn't something I'm a big fan of, and the text over the image looks like the kid himself did it. I highly suggest getting rid of the text over the image. I suggest either keeping the image in full color(How I'd go) or doing black and white. If you choose to do black and white, I highly suggest increasing the contrast a lot. Simply desaturating an picture doesn't make a good black and white image.

The posing of the first image is also slightly awkward. I'm not the best at posing, so I'd ask for advice from a pro as to what to do instead. I would have had him put his other hand over his knee and angle himself so that the arm with the glove was sticking out to the camera more. That would make a more dynamic shot.

For the second one, it's very obvious the kids face is completely out of focus. Other than that, I would suggest not sticking him smack dab in the middle of the frame. I would suggest recomposing it so that he was slightly more to the right, adding some movement to the frame with his arm.

The last one appears to be in focus, but lacks some necessary sharpening. I would suggest first of all sharpening the image, that would get you off to a good start. I also suggest adding a bit more contrast. I see the look you're going for here, but the lack of contrast makes the image look OOF. I would also suggest cropping a wee bit off of the right side, and maybe blurring out the background a bit more. It's moderately distracting and unappealing.

Nice start you've got.
