I am not following this Shane... I was just going to get a 8 ft X 4 ft panel and use that single panel as the floor. Why did you throw yours away? I was not going to make bigger floor area with multiple panels. I wil check the Ikea set too

Well, I just figured a large panel like that is a PIA to store and transport where a snap together floor of equal size would take up a lot less space and fit in the trunk of your car. Plus, the snap together stuff looks nicer, imho.

Agreed. I was not going to move/transport that panel just leave it on the carpet, and use when needed, and when using seamless paper pull right over that panel. I will be going to Ikea this weekend .

A flooring idea had *not good for seniors though, but chldren instead* is to get those foam floor squares that have one for each letter of the alphabet.

The reason i suggested laminate floor panels is because they snap together, You assemble the floor right on top of you carpeting. If you ever decide to move, you unsnap and your off to another place to re set it up
