I rather like the floor showing through. Brown and light blue are very complimentary imo.

FWIW, I like the floor showing too. I think it helps establish that these are petals, rather than just some funky blue carpet thing, which is necessary so that then the petals falling makes sense. I also think the brown compliments the blue.

Liz I like the first shot. #2, her makes her face look broad. Slight change in face position or shooting position will fix that.
