I have always wanted to give Blackrapid strap a try. I finally decided to get one. I am looking to get RS4 with FR3, but it seems everywhere I look, RS4 only comes with older FR2. Can someone suggest a seller with good price?

I prefer RS4 over RS7 because I don't like the quick release buckle. 5Di, 5Diii, 28, 50, 85, 16-35II, 24-105, 70-200F2.8 IS

I just picked up my RS-5 I ordered from Henry's today and it also came with the FR-3 as did my RS-4 about a week ago so I don't understand why you are having issues getting the FR-3 with yours . Old stock is my guess but I can't see sellnsend having old stock or not being able to sell/supply you the RS-4 with the FR3 as you want because they sell the FR-3 .

I would love to get a BlackRapid, but cant afford it right now. I was thinking that I could probably just buy a FR3, get a regular strap and put a latch on it and connect it there. Has anyone done anything like this? MyGear | Feedback | facebook

I'd like to rest my camera more at my waist rather than my hips but if i shorten it too much, the padded area wont sit at my shoulder anymore, it would more forward. i'm 5'10" so i'm not toooo short, maybe i just have a shorter torso
