Options for presenting 300+ images web galleries (non-flash)

I am looking for a good(free) solution to presenting a large image gallery online.

I want to use this for posting images from my 3-day family reunion that I attend each year. Over the course of the 3 days I end up with about 300 images.

I believe a handful of visitors may not have flash, so I want to stick with non-flash gallery options.

I currently have lightroom and use the HTML gallery which gets the job done.

Im just curious about other options.

Jalbum seems nice and easy, but I forgot to mention a major requirement.

I want be able to host the gallery on my family's website. I don't want them to have to navigate to a 3rd party.

Jalbum allows hosting on your own site, or on their site... no worries!

if your family's website uses wordpress, you can use picasa and then a plugin to retrieve all the photos and put it in a wordpress page....

i like smugmug, but you have to pay for it. i think for the price of $0, they will have to go to a third party site to see the photos.

I played around with the lightroom option a bit more and I think its sufficient. Initially my grid was too small which resulted in 20+ pages of images, this was my main complaint.

Im going to try Jalbum some more tonight and see how to get it hosted on my own site

I know this thread is quite old now, but if it's of any help I found 350's gallery feature damn useful. It bypasses the need for any offline setup or coding as it resizes and distributes your images in a variety of ways for you. Even the uploader will resize the images for you if you ask it to.
