Here is a creepy that I found. I shot this one about 15 frames, and of course the first one is the one that came out the best.

I used my new nifty two-fifty (aka Canon 55-250 IS) It is a really nice lens. I never imagined getting a shot that came out crisp and zoomed in. I was using a tokina 80-400 and it is very soft. (I'm actually considering selling it, but not sure if I feel right about taking money from someone for the quality it produces)

No attachments, but it is about a 50% crop.

The image is indeed nice and sharp. Love the DOF - what aperature/shutter speed was this shot at? Full zoom? Do you have any experience with the 70-300 IS?

I have no experience with any other lens. I do this hobby on very limited funds. That is what led me to the 55-250mm lens, it is the cheapest IS lens available, and the quality far exceeds my other long lens option.

I think I would like a 100-400 L or a Bigma (50-500) but I cannot imagine ever having that kind of money. In addition neither could have gotten this shot, since they have significantly longer minimal focus distances.

It is a spec that I never considered before, but being only 36 inches on the 55-250 really opens up the possibilities. (like this shot)
