In their next video they should get a long extension cable so they can fire off the strobe while dragging the XT around.

Rob,
That's hillarious !! I've been using the original Tronix Explorer 1200 for a couple years now, and it's been a beast. It just keeps working, no matter how much I use & abuse it. I've been thinking of adding an XT SE because I can't use the 1200 on my Eli 600RX or my E640s. The 1200 works fine with my WL1200s and WL600, but it wont work with my digital strobes.

After watching this, I may just have to add the XT SE !!!

Yeah, the Explorer is built like a tank. I've used it many times as a step stool when shooting a tall model or I just need that extra height for a better camera position. I use my XT and XT SE all the time and they just keep on ticking.

The Vagabond II wouldn't even be safe just to turn on after being dragged around like that.

I wonder what a torture test for the Vagabond II would look like.

Perhaps just putting the Vagabond II in a room with Paul would be torturous

Bring on the flames.

i was honestly expecting more.

put anything in a padded vinyl bag and it's survivability rate will go up.

that's more like it.

if the torture test involved the scene from the movie office space, i'd be readily impressed

That's a great scene from Office Space.

Those Pelican cases are incredible. There's a reason why so many people own and love them.

It's made in the Philippines. I think the quality and workmanship there are superior to those that come from India, China, Etc.

The components and boards are still being sourced from China. It's assembled in the Philippines.
