at last... the fix for this exists in the 3.2rc:

# Library: If a directory tree is collapsed prior to closing Lightroom it will appear expanded after re-launching the application

Great! Lens corrections för 100L IS Makro and 300/4L IS in 3.2! Now nearly all my lenses can be corrected... :D

No, that would be a total coincidence. The above only happens when you buy things that don't come with a free upgrade. Like lenses.

me too , totally!!! saves me from my procrastination of making my own profiles - i knew they'd do it for me hehehe now with this update, all my canon glass are supported. rejoice.
