This is my first time taking pictures of African American in white clothing. It turned out to be as tricky as others have warned me. But on the plus side, I learned to use center point mode that day.

Took 1000+ photos. Blew one of my flashes. Do not use lithium ion batteries, if you do, rotate the flashes out to allow cool down.

They look good, but too centered. This is something that I have been working on as well when shooting wide open.

They look good, it would be nice to see them a little bit larger . In my opinion I think the first 3 could use a bit tighter crop. #2 looks like the focus is on the groom, the bride is slightly OOF, but this could just be because the image is pretty small and it's hard to tell for sure.


Currently shooting with Nikon gear.....don't hate me.

Thought so. I think given the crop and compostion the bride isn't blurred enough to get the effect you're going for. Again this is only the opinion of an amateur, others here might not feel the same.


Currently shooting with Nikon gear.....don't hate me.
