Took this series last month near Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park. Who's having more fun?

I'm quite the fan of photos of the photographer.... #2 is excellent and would be great for advertising, with heaps of negative space for sales copy.

Hope you dont mind but I gave it a little more pop.

I haven't got the 20D yet. My girlfriend is urging restraint. Maybe someone will turn in my 10D. I doubt it.

You think that pic would make a good advertisement? That's funny. I've been kicking around the idea of trying my stuff at some stock photography companies. That's why I shot these pics. I don't think I'd need a model release.

I like your PS job too. I've been trying to scale back lately on the contrast and saturation. I think I have become a bit over dependent on it. Your version works well though.

I think it's a matter of knowing where to stop in regards to contrast and saturation. Some might say my images are oversaturated and too contrasty but I liken them to the Velvia/Provia processes of film. The composition, colour and contrast is what really drew me to your Pbase work. I understand that you'd like to use the 'light' more effectively but don't tone it back too much

Go for it with the stock photography, but I think your work is above any of the .com stock photography sites. They pay very little and will be the death of commercial photography if talented photographers support them.

A smart man would use a remote shutter release so he could do both!

My friend dropped his 10D in the ocean and it was totally destroyed! So what did he do?
Went straight out and bought a 20D of course! Maybe you should "accidently" drop yours or even better, have a friend "steal" it from you.

Nice series, Dave. If you didn't see my reply to your post announcing the loss of your 10D, I'll say again I'm sorry for your loss. Try your insurance, can't hurt. But hurry and get that 20D, there's still time out here. I'll be back in RMNP the last week of Aug.

I think I'm getting the 20D when i return from my next trip. I've been reading about it online for the past two days. It looks like an fantastic camera. I was hoping to hang onto my 10D untill the 30D or whatever is released. That's going to have to change because I have a trip to Yellowstone planned with my dad for the third week of September. If I can ever figure out a way tomake some money off photography I'm going to buy the 5D.
