I don't see any ads on FF but I have AdBlock enabled. On IE, Chrome, and Safari I do see the ads. Ads are terrible, take them off. If I see ads on someone's portfolio website I'd quickly close the site.
Other than that, I quite like the site, the layout is simple but perhaps finishing the "About" section is a good idea. Moving "Project" to the top might be wise too.
I'll probably just remove the ads from the top, and leave them on the bottom. Less obtrusive. Finishing the About section is my next priority.

Had a look at your site HTML and first you have no meta taging and put something about you on as well with key words on every page. at the moment you are no 5 on Google under m gates photo and thats it. Put yourself on google maps, yahoo, bing, and every other search engine you can find and that is how you will be found. Me personally I cannot stand google ads as they will only work if you are having alot of hits. good luck with your site.
Great suggestions, I'll add some meta keywords on each page, also change the title to each page too.

So, you paying for GoogleAds and your website is more of a personal site? Doesn't make sense to me. If you want to be found in Google, read my SEO link in my sig....
Google Ads are free, actually. I'm doing Adsense, not Adwords. Will take a look at your sig. Thanks

^^^^^ agreed... No meta tags, Google Ads, no content, frames content... It all says "Do it yourself website"... Let a professional help you, or at least use the tools that are available to you from your hosting company.
So basically it's just not a professional website because I'm not using the search and internet market techniques? How about the layout? I know it's simple but it looks good doesn't it? Or the way the photos open?
