I had a blast hanging out with family this past weekend at the L.A. Galaxy vs. Real Madrid friendly match at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. The Galaxy led 2-0 after the first half, but Real Madrid dominated the second half and won 3-2 after they put in their superstar (Ronaldo), which was a smart move to keep all the fans from leaving early!

Tawcan...thanks! Yes, they are sweet lenses!!!

banpreso...thanks! I always appreciate your comments! For #6, I used my killer outdoor strobes (aka stadium lights) :) They provided a decent directional light, but they were very harsh, so I did some skin work to tone down a few shiny spots.

Motofreak...that's awesome! I saw a few orange spots on the high res file, so one of the might have been you. Fun match! And you had great seats!

Great shots, well done. Looks like a full-house at the Rose Bowl...that must be 90,000 plus ?

On a side note, Beckham and Ronaldo were'nt the same players after leaving Manchester United - there's only one way to go after leaving Old Trafford, that's down ;) :D

I was there, too :)

Did you get hassled for bringing your camera in? I asked them about it beforehand and they said "no SLRs", so I didn't bring mine. I did see quite a few there though...
