Playing with textures and blending IF

Got a bit bored and started playing with a picture with some wall textures I just downloaded. Anyways, just wanted to hear comments on it. Be harsh... Like it, hate it or simply meh!

I like the idea, but the transition seems a little linear - ie it runs vertically down her face. As a result, it looks like its just 'plobbed' on. It would be nice to see it in a way that the face morphs out of the texture. Hope that makes sense

Works for me. I enjoy the interpretation. There is a metaphorical aspect here. The part of someone we really don't know as expressed by the texture and the part we know expressed in her face. It also looks as if she is viewing us through a window or distortion that is creating a sense of mystery.

You hit it exactly where I was coming from with the first interpretation. But your second take at it (thru a window) is very interesting, I did not thought it could double as a window, indeed works nicely as that too.. Thanks!
