Why 2K?

I'm coming up on a threshold - it has been 2 years and 2,000 posts for me on this forum. I have spent time on the other well known digital photo forums, but I always seem to gravitate back to here. This is a great forum run by some great mods and frequented by some great folks. I have learned a great deal here and, hopefully, provided some valuable info (and a few laughs).

Here's to the POTN community - keep it up and keep it civil.

you know for a minute there I thought that you was going to talk about the 2k bug or windows 2k. But 2k posts. I haven't reach 500 yet

But I have found this to one of the most useful places on the net to learn about photography. So congrats on the anniversary.

During that supposedly fateful day (New Years Eve 1999) I played a round of golf, and since I had to go to work (to make sure all the computers didn't crash), the family celebrated New Years at 7:00 PM our time using European customs (it was New Years there at that time), then I went off to work. I had one report that had a bad date on it, but that was it. At work we had a celebration just after 'our' midnight. All the preparation paid off. Now its just a hazy memory.

2000 posts in 2 years is very respectible! 2000 posts in like 3 months is Crazy. I have seen one poster like that here, that's just too much in so little time IMO.
