How long does it take B&H to put an item in a box and hand it off to UPS?

I ordered it with the "International 1-2 business day option" and UPS generally will get it to me in 24 hours or less once they have possession of it.

Cheers!

Just as an update, the tripod was delivered safe and sound at 1PM today so they actually got it to me in under 24 hrs from the time they had it in their hands. ;)

Cheers!

Ever order from Amazon? Do you think they have a warehouse with all the stuff they sell just waiting to pick and ship when we order?

Amazon actually has warehouses spread all over like Walmart and the rest of the big box shops. But they will drop ship some items where it's more time and cost effective for whatever reason. I doubt they keep hundreds of expensive big screens on hand for example.

Pretty amazing what you can find on Youtube these days.

For what it's worth, I've had virtually an identical experience... though UPS has the package out for delivery still.

But regardless, what I've found is: UPS, fast. B&H, slow.
