I just got my Change up and while I am on the fence about using to hold the camera ( at least with anything larger then a prime or small zoom ) I think its a great bag to hold 2 or 3 lenses with a lot of pockets for accessories and such. Very slim and light.

I've used both vests and backpack.

I like the backpack when hiking. Lowepro 300AW (sling pack). Vest is good when working an event.

i've been thinking about getting a Vest myself...

only problem with Vests though is that I live in Florida and it gets hotter than a MOFO down here! The humidity factor is just insane... I would need a vest that can breath like no other...

IDK I'm looking at some options but just not seeing anything that wouldn't make it hotter than it already is..

I've heard good things about the Think Tank Speed Demon belt pack.

I have the Speed Racer, it's the largest of the waist packs. I really like mine and the bag can be used like a standard shoulder bag.

Take a good look at the tinktank modular system and belt. I use one and really like it. I love how the puches can be slid behind you to not be in the way but can easily slid around your body for access.

Look here.

As you can see, he is not trying to carry a ton of equipment on the belt. I have been in spots where I needed to carry 3 - 4 lenses on it so I added the shoulder harness and found it very comfortable. It's a great system with a lot of flexibility.

Im XXL. 6'4 and look more like an offensive lineman that a photographer. :) The Steroid belt they offer comes in large sizes and is the one I like.
