Avenger C-stand transport size

I asked this in a different forum and didn't get an answer. So I thought I'd try here. I'm looking at the Avenger C-stands. The ones I'm looking at have 40" center columns and detachable bases. In the specs, they list the minimum/closed length at 4.4', and I'm assuming (but would like confirmation) that this length includes the base still attached. I have a lightstand bag that I really like and, at 48", it's long enough to accommodate my existing stands, but 4.4' would be too long to fit in this bag. I want to be sure I can transport the Avenger C-stands in this bag, and I don't care if I have to detach the base to do it. Can someone confirm that after detaching the base, the length I have to worry about is just the length of the center column (roughly 40"). Thanks.

47" for my 2030 stand

That's one of the ones I was looking at. It's also listed as 4.4' long when closed. Are you saying that the length is 47" with the base removed?

Yeah its 47" for the 2030 (40" removable base c-stand) and 48" for the Junior Boom Arm that I have
