I can't decide for the life of me which size to get. 35" or 47". Is bigger better in this case?

I have an AB400 and an AB800. Any benefit of one over the other? I've read a bunch of threads on here and I just can't decide. Any input would be fantastic!

Bigger equals softer. Do you want softer? Probably because you're buying an octabox. So I would go with the 47".

Get the 47". Octabox/softboxes are supposed to get a nice soft wrap around light on the subject. The larger the modifier, the better this effect.
