I upgraded from a 50D and was going to get the 5D2 but after trying out both, the 5D3's AF and ISO performance was just too good to not have. Haven't had much trouble with the light issue that's been plaguing the camera either. I think besides the AF and ISO, the other thing that won me over was that it's an investment down the line. Rather than getting a 5D2 and then waiting 4 years to spring for the 5D3, I can just use this camera and not worry about upgrading for a long time Since you have the 5D2, it ultimately depends on the type of photography you shoot. I tried shooting at a moments notice with both the 5D2 and 5D3 and the AF on the 5d3 worked flawlessly. If you don't really shoot fast things, I think the 5D2 is perfectly fine. But thats just my opinion ![]() Thanks for your reply! Ewan
