That's crazy! I spent an hour out one night trying to get something on a really stormy evening and never got anything like this!

After reading how to capture lightening I went out one night during a storm. The lightening was random and the rain had stopped. I set up my wide angle with a tripod and cable release. I held the shutter open for aprox 20 seconds at a time. Second or third exposure this lightening struck. Scared the crap out me! I headed inside after that!
