I'm a non-pro, and my friends didn't feel like 'traditional' slick wedding photography stuff, so asked if I felt like being one of the 2 'official unofficial photographers'. Since it's a hobby, and I really liked shooting my cousin's wedding last year, I said 'yeah, sure!'. Took too much gear, although I used it all; a 5DII, 24-105L, 70-200/2.8 IS, 35L, Sigma 50/1.4 and the 135L. Didn't have a flash at the time (ordered, but no time to learn to use it properly), so it's all available light, and I prefer candids to posed shots.
Here's a tiny, straight from camera selection (small JPG), as I'm sorting and processing the RAW files at the moment. Only post-processing was some cropping here and there, ceremony shots need colour correction so not posted. C&C welcome!
Going for a high-key look:
Artsy hat shot
Amusingly patriotic (for a non-american, non-religious person)
Dance the night away
