So, here is my latest Senior Photo session.
I recently switched from Nikon D90 to Canon 7D.
I have been using my 7D for 2 weeks now.
I am looking for some CC on this photo.
THANKS!

I posted the first time in People talk, then realized i was in the wrong spot.
Now I think i am in the right place.

I like the shot, very well done.. the only thing I could possibly see doing is trying to soften/darken the reflection in PP. I think the way it is just draws away from the girl

Gear List: Kodak Funsaver MAX Cameras, Epson Scanner, MS Paint & some Crayons

Nice image, and a beautiful subject and overall image.
My only criticism although I can't tell for sure as you only posted a low res version, is that the skin smoothing may be on the 'limit' although I wouldn't say it is overdone.

I was unsure how to post a larger image. I apologize. The other one i tried to post, i was told was too big. I will try again Thanks rhys216. I appreciate the input.
tjames, as far as adjusting the mirrored image, i took your advice. After looking again, i see what you were saying.
I will put the adjusted image up here to see what you think.
thanks again for your time and input. It is much appreciated!

Here is another version of the photo that I adjusted with the suggestions above.

rhys216, can you explain what you mean by 'on the limit' with the skin smoothing. she has relatively smooth skin, however, i had to adjust for 'shiny' spots as well as some acne.
i welcome suggestions to adjust in the future processing of her other photos.
i think i know what you mean, but would like to confirm.
thanks!

This may be personal preference, but this is how I would go about cleaning up the skin with such a model.
As a rule I always like to be able to see some texture in the skin, this gives the image a more natural look and helps you to avoid making the subject look like a wax model.
In this case because her skin was smooth anyway I would have used the healing brush in PS to do most of the retouching to her skin.

Also I wouldn't mind if you emailed me a full res completely untouched JPG version, and I'l retouch it and post it up.
You can then decide which approach you prefer in this instance.

PM me if you would like to try it and i'l give you my email address or perhaps you can upload it somewhere and provide a link.
