Aug 13, 2010 22:59 | #11 increase of MP and addon fucntions on new models are more than what I need, so I "will" stick with 7d after price drop, I think this apply to most the DSLR users as well, so a 7d will be going around for a long while before been pushed out of the user market.

Much better bang/buck imho. I just don't have the money to drop on a body that expensive. I'd rather save up some more for the rumored 35 1.8 lens. The "last for ten years" is not lifespan, it is the consumer market, how many people still use a 6mp rebel DSLR? it came out in 2003, but barely see them around now.
