how to deactivate the auto off feature on the ranger rx

Just got the Ranger RX battery pack..........Does anyone know how to deactivate this on the ranger rx battery pack?...or does the charging continue after the 4 beeps and auto-shutoff? The manual just says "when active" it'll shutoff after 4 beeps, but doesn't say how to de-activate, if that's even possible.

I found where to toggle it off/on

On the Ranger RX the button to the right of the on/off is the pilotlight... in the functions menu I found where to turn off the auto-off function (Ao0=off, Ao1=on)

Questions:
1. Is the led display supposed to keep flashing while it's charging?
2. I read on this forum that some set to P1.8.....mine will only go down to P2.0, anyone know why?

Discovered there's a difference between socket A & B (B won't go below 2.0)
