first night time shoot ever ... be gentle

try opening it in camera raw and using the level tool. Even if its a jpeg you can still open in raw.
Browse using bridge, right click the image and choose open in camera raw. leave that bad boy out and i think you got it. Nice shots.

Some of the best "night shots" I've seen were taken before it's totally dark while there's still some light left in the sky. You don't need much, but you need some if you want to get a bit of separation between the buildings & the dark sky.
