I recently switched from paper to muslin backdrops.

I really like using the black one i purchased, however I have a hard time lighting the white one and i can see EVERY single crease or wrinkle in it.
Any suggestions as to how to fix this?
I have left it hang straight on my stand, but post processing is a bear when dealing w/ the blown highlights and shadows that it creates.

Wet it with spray bottle while hanging or steam iron it. Paper is better for what you trying to do. Otherwise get heavier muslin or velour kind of material.

I would consider going to a muslin background, a step BACKwards for what you are trying to do. A black muslin doesn't have the same issues, it can be wrinkled and even dirty and when you PS it, (I use "black point" in aperature 3, you can make it go completely black and it looks great. White, not so much, I've found. White paper is much better, IMO.

I have a new roll of bright white paper coming on monday.
That white muslin is either not heavy enough for me or something.
I Just don't like it.
The black has been good to me!
I adjust the blacks in PS as well to make them even darker when necessary.

THANKS for the input!
much appreciated!:D
