I'm not too sure if it's just me (most probably is) but if I were to be picky then the horizon on shot one doesn't quite look level; maybe sloping slightly from right to left? As I said though...this could just be me !

Other than that not a fan of big bold water marks (God I can be uber picky).

I like shots 1 and 3 very much. Number 2 I'm not too sure on. Technically I think it's fine but the crack in the road makes it look like it has been badly stitched (pickiness number 3).

I wouldn't worry about it I think I'm great at being picky...I can't take photos for toffee. I'd be dead chuffed with them!

Nice images!! However, I also think the watermark can be a bit distracting from nice images...

Thank you both for taking the time to comment...

I am going to have to do something with the watermark, it is an off the shelf option on Zenfolio (which is fairly new to me) and it is not that intrusive against a black BG but put it in a forum with a white BG and it really jumps out, will probably design somthing custom for bottom RHS just as a mention for my website when posting in forums.

Stav, Ref Picture number 2... Now you have mentioned that the horizon looks off a little I can see it, I had a look at the original upload in photoshop and the top of the front structure on the bridge is bang on horizontal. I think the illusion may be being caused by the hills in the background.

As for the road this is probably the best piece of road in all of Hungary but you are right it really does jump out at you, may have a go at cloaning it out or doing a bit of "digital" road repair at some point, just wish the authorities would do it for real lol!

Thanks once again for the comments and glad you enjoyed the pictures :D

Hiya - it's image one that I think looks a little out of kilter, not number 2. However the more I look at it I do think it's perfectly straight, I think the cause is the shadows. The wall on the left is lighter than the windows/cupboards on the right. I think that's what's making me feel it's a little off balance.

Cheers

Sorry Chap, misread your comment :)

I used the chains holding the lights to get my vertical but I think you are right the contrast between the light and shade on the two sides give it an uneven feel... They are a series of shops wsa looking forward to getting some grafiti pictures and some candid street shots as it used to be a fairly iffy passage way but they seem to have moved on the homeless and drunk folk that used to inhabit it.

Thanks Brian...

I have tinkered with my watermark now but it is still very bright on a whie BG with opacity set at 5% although not sure if it will reduce as the settings kisk through, it is virtually unnoticable against a darker background :D
