I was at the local camera store looking for a new bag for my lenses and gripped XSi. I currently have the case logic backpack but its terrible for my organizational OCD. Id like a bag with memory card slots, manual storage, flash slots and seperation for my lenses. The Evolution 6 really is a great looking bag but the slots on the side to access the camera are too small for a gripped camera. I really liked the design but the fumbling around to get the camera in and out would annoy me to no end!

Do any of you know of a bag similar to this style that would be user friendly for gripped camera users?

I don't know...the Evo 6 was on the high side of my bag budget and the Evo 8 is what, like $50 more, give or take? Its hard to pick a good bag. I may start checking into the messenger style bags. I just can't make up my mind!

Well...its official, I said screw the budget and just ordered a Domke F-2. I'm such a sucker for excellent reviews and the retro, stealth style of this bag. Its a little big for my equipment but I'm sure I'll grow into it.

Yeah, I can't wait! It looks like it'll be awesome when the canvas is broken in!

Yes it is a shoulder bag but id like a bag that's easy to work out of. I think it'll be great for me...I hope at least!

I have the evo 6 and so far I like it. However once I got it, I found that it was actually a little smaller than expected lol, but it had everything I needed.

I went to a local camera store here in AZ and tried the battery grip on my xs to try and check the fitment for the evo 6 and I see what you mean. The gripped xs was definitely tight.

I'm glad you found yourself a bag;) I have the lowepro exchange messenger as well that I really love

Thanks! The salesman at the store told me "the grips are pretty easy to remove, you could just store it in the top compartment til you're ready to use it''...I told him there is no way I'm pulling the grip everytime I use the bag. The grip is awesome and I didn't have to have that bag.

Ill let ya know what I think of my Domke F-2. It seems to be very loved on this forum!

I just got my Domke F-2!! This thing is awesome! Plenty of room for growth and build quality is top notch! I can't wait use it this weekend. I'll let you know how it goes. Its pretty stiff but it will be awesome when it breaks in.
