Third time is the charm.

Started a blog twice for photography. Efforts were hindered by the fact that I don't really know much about photography. What I do know is REAL ESTATE photography.

Voila!

With a million agents out there, I hope I have focused myself on neatly on a potential audience.

Wish me luck!

The title of this thread should have been "A completely empty blog with the breathe wordpress theme applied to it"

Its still got the default text and some images and zero content so I think you have shared it a bit early matey, content is king and the reason people visit blogs, not to see an empty one with a standard template applied..... share some of your work.

I can count you as a follower then. To keep me honest?

Not really, not much point in following something that's empty, share it again when you have some actual content.

I got plenty of rest and I agree. At this point, there's nothing to see/follow.

Plenty of rest here too thanks, I just think it would have been best to remove all the default text and images and add some of your own content before sharing it as a new blog.

In my opinion, instead of responding to this thread, you should be writing content on your site... "Coming Soon" is better than default content...

That's a good point.

Just finished "about me, gear, and portfolio." Also finished Monday's post, which will go up at 12:01 am on that date.

Working the links right now between my portfolio and the blog. Then on to Tuesday's post.

Finally, some time on getting the content in front of the target audience -- admittedly, not your average POTN'r. Lots to learn about facebook, twitter, tumblr, foursquare, on and on and on.

All the content in the world won't mean squat if the right people aren't reading -- and the right people are the ones that can help me monitize it.

True, so I would change your "Welcome to L Ville" in your <title> tag, to something that somebody might Google. ;)

I think the name is transient. I haven't settled on something I like relative to something that's available. I'm pretty sure that I'm not too far into yet to change that, though.

Still, I can't believe that the only way to get people to come is to google it. I need to find the 1,000,000 realtors in the world, and "get the word out". To bad they don't all share the same facebook page.

Do good work and let word of mouth be your best friend. Start small, don't quit your day job quite yet. One at a time. Takes time and patience.
