I have a Canon XSi with a 430EXII flash. I would like to start experimenting with off camera flash and have been considering cheap radio triggers to fire my 430 off camera. I also have two olympus T32 flashes (early 1980's) and was wondering if I could also use them with radio triggers. I was primarily thinking of using the 430 as a key light and one or both of the T32's as background lights. Will this work? Thanks in advance for your help.

fish,

It's been ~forever~ since I had a T32 in hand.

Doesn't this model only have a couple of manual power settings/modes?

That'd be my concern as far as limitations.

I don't see any reason why you couldn't trigger them with a remote. You'd just need to determine if the power output options would work in whatever situation you'd be putting them in.

Best of luck.

Unbalanced,

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, its been awhile since I've used the T32's. It looks like they have two manual power settings, full and half. I'll get some triggers and see how it goes.
