NEED Desperate HELP: add text to a photo

I have a photo i need to add text to in a certain spot and make it look like it was written on the spot before hand.

I would like to add the words "thank you" in this case but it will be "just married" later on.

how do i do this in CS5

the text will go on the black foam board the boat is dragging

Create a text layer, type your text in the font and size you desire, put it right where you want it, flatten the image.

Before you flatten, you might want to use the transform tool for the text layer to get the perspective right.

Since you want to change the text later on, save as a tiff with the text layer intact before flattening and converting it to a jpeg. That way you can open the tiff and change the text when you want to. Unless, that is, you want to repeat the process from the original to save the hard drive space from the extra tiff file...

Done in CS5, Layer with type on top of background layer, selected type face, in this case it was "Viner Hand ITC" added it the area needed, with into edit/free transform to adjust as required.
